I think my home paintball field (ImpactZone, in Pomona) just went out of business. Bummer.

It's now raining outside. I forgot to check the weather. Not only do I not like rain, but I really hate being surprised by it. I guess it is winter. This will push all the paintballers indoors tomorrow, I'm sure. Don't know if that's good or not. At least it's a holiday weekend.

Many days, I wish I wasn't so negative. Today is one of those days. The other thing I wish for is new friends, I'm bored and lonely. At least I found some good guys to start practicing for tournaments with. Problem is, they'll help me grow more as a player than a person. No offense towards them, it's just that I can't look to games for the serious needs of life. I really need to get out somewhere new.

In honor of Thanksgiving, I present this recipe of weirdness:

-3 parts family members in a foriegn country
-1 part me in California
-1 unexpected e-mail from someone I care about but haven't spoken with since the prior Thanksgiving
-Every Ani DiFranco CD I could get my hands on

This is the kind of recipe that makes you want to sleep, even though you can't.

Blah.

"when I say you sucked my brain out
the english translation
is I am in love with you
and it is no fun
but I don't use words like love
'cuz words like that don't matter
but don't look so offended
you know, you should be flattered"

I can't adequately describe how fantastic the album "Dilate" is.
