I think they need to start handing out Prozac at work, it's flat out depressing. Today is my boss's last day, and we'll all miss him greatly. He's going back with his family to Syria next week. Evan is gone now too, and he was employee #1!

It's a ghosttown.

There is an article talking about the voting taking place regarding the name of the new triple-A baseball team out in Albuquerque. One of the names in final selection is the Isotopes. If you're a fan of the Simpsons, this will fill you with joy, I am sure.

Today I have decided to try and take back administrative control of my domain, techfreak.net. OK, I didn't really *lose* control, but, it's kind of hard to administer it with Network Solutions when you A) lose your account info and B) don't have DNS pointing anywhere meaningful to allow your listed technical contact to receive mail.

Yippie, pictures of me on the internet. OK, it's only one picture, and you can't even tell that it's me, but still I'm happy it's there. See this. I'm wearing black in the lower right picture captioned "Gotcha covered". I think I got shot about 30 seconds after the photo was shot. Did I mention I hate shooting out the left?

Today, I was happy to confirm that a scuba tank filled at sea level will not have problems when taken to a higher altitude. OK, I haven't actually confirmed it hands on, but, a quick recap of some high school physics and a trip to the rec.scuba newsgroup was quite helpful.

Made it back safely from my weekend trip. Paintball yesterday was pretty fun, especially towards the end of the day. One player was a bit intoxicated and irritated at the rate of fire on my electro, but I think I kept the situation pretty calm. Playing at altitude wasn't that difficult, either.

So, I get back and find out that we're not being given the option of renewing our lease. I'm a bit bummed, but, not worried. My biggest issue is that I hate moving! This time around, I think I'll use a storage facility to simplify the cut-over, and maybe get a truck. Ya, that's it.
